I aim to shoot not only what the moment looks like, but what the moment feels like.

This is quite personal, but it had such a profound impact on me that I have to share it.

Today for me started out with one of those moments in life that just takes the wind out your sails. It’s a day I will always remember, for bad and good.

For as long as I can remember, all I’ve ever wanted to do for my birthday was be near water. My birthday parties were always luaus with water games. (Besides one notable year where I had a Napoleon dynamite birthday party.🤓) As I got older, I

The Yummiest Light

I'm absolutely in love with pretty much every shot from Dustan and Rachel's portrait session! The sun was our friend, giving us a gorgeous backlit ethereal feel.

These wonderful people climbed an icy hiking trail in the snow to get that beautiful mountain backdrop! She even hiked it in a floor-length dress the whole time! They are troopers- I love that I got to work with amazing and fun people that were willing to get down and dirty and be a little cold to get the right lighting and location! It couldn't have turned out better for us- though it could have been a little warmer and that would have been fine. ;)

Very first blog post!

I am very excited to begin this journey of sharing how I see the world through my lens!
